Books
This option allows adding books into the system, this can be done by giving the details in the given fields like book name, categories, book copies etc or by importing the books using. In the same way we can add or import authors, using the menu Author. The damage and lost books can also be found under this option. The option of Label/barcode print is formulated to generate the barcode for the corresponding books.
Circulation
The Circulation option in the Library Management System consists of various to issue and return books. .Using issue books option, we can issue the book and this is being done by searching a particular member or by scanning the barcode to issue the books. The system will show the borrowed books of that particular member with due date. There is option to search either using accession number or using books name to issue the books. Several options like return book and renew is also available in the same interface.
Notify delayed members
Member will be notified about the due date of the borrowed books, overdue notification via email or SMS.
Admin Panel
The admin panel master option allows creating members as different users, students, teachers etc. Using member type option, we can set books and days issue limit .Which means the number of days a member type can hold the books. According to that only the fine amount will generate. There is also option available to print user’s library card using “User Card Printer” option.
Settings
This option provide us the way for some general set up like, Institute Name, Institute Address, Logo, Fine, etc . Using database version we can back up the current database. “SMS config” option will allow us to integrate the SMS gateway that we are use in the library module.
Reports
The reports menu has all the reports that we needed, which include quick inventory, accession number wise search report, student wise search report, subject wise, room wise, accession date wise, received date wise, etc. All the reports can be exported to PDF or excel format.
